About Martha StoryEXPERIENCE Prior to getting licensed as a Realtor I worked for over 15 years in Customer Service related positions. I was employed for 11 years with Anthem Blue Cross Shield and 5 years with Verizon. I held numerous positions in both companies. Most recently, I was a second level substitute with the Customer Care CLEC division of Verizon. My duties were handling priority escalations, which were service related troubles which had not been resolved to the customer's satisfaction. Resolving these troubles were crucial since sometimes the customer was experiencing no dial tone, resulting in no phone or data service. Duties included submitting the trouble ticket and coordinating repair with field supervisors, technicians, central frame supervisors, and switch facility technicians, while keeping the customer informed of all progress until resolution. This progression can be compared to following a real estate transaction through numerous steps, while keeping everyone informed, and resulting in settlement and home ownership.
